Color guard performs

Every year, acting students, art students, and art teachers prepare vigorously for the Fine Arts Festival. This year’s Fine Arts Festival was held on Thursday, May 17th from 6-8:00 p.m., and featured both performance and visual art through student artwork displays,  as well as performances by the Acting classes and Band in the auditorium. There were raffles, including one for potted herbs, and a variety of things for sale, like plants, student artwork, baked goods, and even farm fresh eggs. At the Fine Arts Festival, students expressed themselves and their creativity, according to Ms. Charron, an art teacher here at West Side. “Our Fine Arts Festival is like MCAS, it’s showing what students know, and what they can do.”.
