Vapes detectors are put into the school’s bathroom. These devices are installed in hidden spots to catch the culprit considering it got this bad that we actually had to install vape detectors proves my point of how people are ruining the school environment. I asked Officer Slidell, ¨Do you think vaping is addictive?”  In which he responded with ¨Yes I think vaping is addictive and its not good for your health.¨ That’s a pretty straightforward answer which I 100% agree with. ¨Is vaping safe for students¨. ¨Definitely not. It’s not a safe alternative to cigarettes like it’s designed to be. From what has been studied by vape, people have negative side effects in their lungs in a much shorter time than smoking.¨ With that i agree, people should be responsible and held accountable for their actions hence why we have vape detectors. Getting to know more about how the detectors work,¨Do you think vape detectors are effective?¨. ¨Yes.The vape detectors not only let the administration of school know when someone has vaped, it also has an alarm that can be heard immediately. It works like a smoke detector.¨ Students would probably be caught off guard by this, considering the fact that they might not know about the detectors.  ¨What should people know about vaping?¨. ¨The biggest thing they should know is that just by trying it most vape devices give off a lot of nicotine and they’re highly addicted and it’s important to not get addicted because of how unsafe it is.¨ Addictiveness is a big thing and I understand it is respectfully hard to stop. ¨What are the side effects associated with nicotine?¨ ¨Nicotine is addictive but people who are addicted can cause anxiety,vomiting,abdominal pain.¨ Adding more, you don’t want these side effects that damage your body with irreversible repair, especially young healthy teenagers smoking. It just sends the wrong message.
